Surf Day Events

Sea Her Rise surf days are not your average learn-to-surf experience. Designed specifically for women in midlife, each day brings together a guided surf lesson with a carefully chosen workshop — so you leave not just with more waves under your belt, but with something that shifts the way you show up in the water and beyond.

Whether you're returning to surfing after years away, navigating the ocean for the first time, or simply ready to stop putting it off — this is where you start.

Women's Surf Progression Day - Advanced Beginner to Intermediate

August 22nd

Join us in iconic Byron Bay for an inspiring day of surf progression, confidence-building, and connection with like-minded women.

Who is this 1 day event for?

This surf progression day is designed for women aged 35+ who are advanced-beginner or intermediate surfers. Who can confidently paddle out, catch waves independently, and are looking to progress their surfing (check out our surf levels here).

This day is designed to support real surf progression through a filmed in-water coached surf session, by qualified coaches as well as your hosts, personalised video analysis, a surf confidence and wave knowledge workshop, a surf focused mobility session and practical strategies to help you achieve your goals. You'll gain a deeper understanding of your surfing, identify what's holding you back, and leave with the tools and confidence to keep progressing long after the day is over.

Your Day Includes:

  • Mobility and surf-specific warm-up session, plus a take-home PDF so you can continue your practice and progress at home.

  • Videoed in-water surf coaching focused on improving wave selection, positioning, technique, and confidence from qualified Let’s Go Surfing coaches and your hosts.

  • Personalised video analysis to celebrate your progress and identify ways to keep improving.

  • Surf confidence & wave knowledge workshop. Where we dive into the 3 pillars of surf confidence: reading the ocean (surf forcasting & wave reading), working with your body (positioning, paddling & timing) and trusting yourself (mindset, fear & confidence).

  • Take home videos, photos, workshop slides and mobility program

  • Connection with like-minded women
